About Straight Talk

Our Passion

We believe that God can change hearts, and when He changes a person’s heart their whole life is changed! Our passion is to partner with churches to see God change hearts and lives of youth and adults.

Our History

In the fall of 1993 Randy Carter, a youth pastor of 11 years with the Christian and Missionary Alliance felt God’s direction to move out of local church youth ministry to begin traveling full time as a youth speaker and youth ministry consultant. By December of 1993 Straight Talk Ministries was founded as a registered charitable organization with a volunteer board of Directors to allow Randy to pursue this calling. July 1, 1994 Randy stepped out of his local youth ministry and into Straight Talk Ministries full time, speaking primarily to students. In June 2001 Randy’s wife Donna, an author and evangelist, joined Straight Talk ministries and travels speaking to women’s groups mixed audiences.
